Common Questions

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open the app, go to the premium screen (tap any locked feature), and tap “Restore Purchases.” Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID you bought with.

My highlights/notes aren’t syncing between devices.

Cross-device sync is a Premium feature and uses your private iCloud. Check that (1) you’re subscribed to Premium, (2) both devices are signed into the same iCloud account, and (3) iCloud is enabled for Stillwater in iOS Settings.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Stillwater → Cancel. You’ll keep Premium until the current period ends.

Is my reading private?

Yes. Stillwater has no ads, no tracking, and no analytics. Your reading, notes, and highlights stay on your device and in your own private iCloud — never sent to us. See our Privacy Policy.
